This TFT monitor is connected to a Windows PC USB connector. The display is working as an additional display which can be added to the main display area on the left, right, upper or lower. Alternatively it can mirror the primary screen. The display can be swiveled in steps of 90°.

This was the missing link in my navigation system for my sailing boat. This system works with a 15?display on the chart table but I was looking for a small display in the cockpit to see if the boat was following the programmed track or get a position. This display also would help when entering locks and harbors. It was frustrating to find that small (below 12?) always come with a touch screen system and at a price that is twice as high as larger displays. The mimo closed this gap and was working fine from the moment I installed it.

Der Display funktioniert auf anhieb (Plug and Play nach Treiberinstallation), und das Display kommt gut zur Geltung.
Leider kann man das Display tagsüber nicht als Head Up Display nutzen, da bei Sonneneinstrahlung die Leuchtkraft doch zu gering ist.

Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell! Ich verwende das Display als Zusatzmonitor für meinen Media-Center-PC. Die Installation unter XP verlief einwandfrei. Unter Vista hab ich 2 Anläufe benötigt; hat dann aber auch funktioniert. Das Teil ist sehr praktisch, da ich zum Musik hören z.B. jetzt nicht mehr meinen großen Fernseher benötige. Auch als digitaler Bilderrahmen eignet sich der Nanovision MIMO UM-710 sehr gut. Selbst neben her fern schauen (über den Media-Center-PC versteht sich) funktioniert gut. Einziger Nachteil: das Display spiegelt etwas.

It's a gadget, but a very nice gadget! The colors are brilliant and really high quality. The only handicap is the fact, that really a lot of data is going over the USB-Bus, which influences other USB-Devices. E.g. With films I had small asynchronous Audio/Video with movies. But still I was able to watch TV from a USB-TV.
De handleiding en de Q & A in het Nederland zou een welkome nog meer professionele indruk maken.
Verder zeer tevreden, natuurlijk met een felle zon recht op het scherm verminderd de kwaliteit van het scherm aanzienlijk.
