The CTFGPS-4 GPS receiver features the new well known and reliable Sirf-3 chipset and can be used with any PC/MAC with an USB connector. The receiver has USB-stick shape and because of his shape he is perfectly useable with eg. UMPC or display USB-HUBs. The integrated highly sensitive GPS Aaerial gives you a maximum receiption quality.
The integrated USB-to-Serial bridge eases usage. For installation you only need a small USB driver.

Ich habe ein baugleiches Gerät in Betrieb (zumindest hat das Gerät exakt dieselben Eigenschaften, nur der Stick sieht etwas anders aus).
Das Gerät hält seine Time-To-First-Fix Versprechen, manchmal dauert es aber ein wenig bis die nächste Aktualisierung auch wirklich beim PC ankommt. Das ist nicht schlimm und macht sich erst ab 160kmh bemerkbar.
Ansonsten zuverlässig und einfach in der Konfiguration.

Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener Empfänger und (abgesehen von der relativ geringen Aktualisierungsfrequenz) durchaus zu empfehlen! Er findet sein Signal wirklich schon innerhalb der angegebenen Zeit!
