VoomPC car PC enclosure
The voomPC(TM) automotive (car, boat, electric cart) enclosure is a small, rugged car PC (carputer) enclosure designed to work in harsh enviroments such as dust and high temperatures. Made our of massive 5.5mm extruded aluminum profile, the voomPC(TM) car PC (carputer) encloure was designed to work with any type of mini-ITX motherboard (170x170mm) from fanless configurations such as VIA mini-ITX or Pentium or low power Pentium-M processors, making it the ideal car PC solution. This car PC / carputer enclosure is specifically designed to work with the M1-ATX car PC automotive power supply series, sold separately, scroll below for more information.

Case work without problems! Was used with my core2Duo T5300 1,73Ghz CPU and Biostar Motherboard I94GM-I4 about 10 months. Perfect result. All components in good places and installation was soft! Recommend!

Mein erstes CarPC-Gehäuse habe ich selber gebaut --> war extrem zeitaufwändig und mühsam!
Das VoomPC-Gehäuse ist platzmäßig zwar recht knapp bemessen, der Zusammenbau geht trotzdem sehr schnell und ist einfach!

Ein Super Teil!! 1+ Verarbeitung ist sehr massiv und einfach, alles entspricht meinen Vorstellungen. Nur den Gehäuselüfter habe ich gegen einen leiseren getauscht, muß man aber nicht denn während der Fahrt hört man eh nur den Motor. Habe ein System mit einem Intel Atom D945GCLF2 (dual-core), 2GB Ram, 60GB HDD 2,5" und das M2 ATX Netzteil aufgebaut. Als Betriebssystem habe ich WinXP-Professional mit SP3. Als benutzeroberfläche nutze ich natürlich ICT außerdem habe ich noch Navi-Software von Navigon und einen USB DVB-T Stick von TerraTec. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei und ruckelt auch nicht wenn Navi und Musik zur gleichen Zeit laufen.
