Dieses neue Board von Intel ist eigentlich nur als Lückenfüller anzusehen. Nachdem die Produktion der Atom D2700 CPU eingestellt wurde, brauchte es Ersatz für das D2700MUD und D2700DC Mainboard (Achtung ! Noch wenige Restbestände verfügbar bei uns !)

Das D2550MUD2 ist im Gegensatz zu den D2700x Modellen mit einer D2550 CPU ausgestattet. (2x 1.86Ghz statt 2x 2.13Ghz CPU)

Zotac hat sich etwas ausgedacht, um die aktuelle "Atom-Problematik" (Kein Windows 8 Suppport für die Grafikeinheit) zu umgehen : Zotac stattet sein neues ZOTAC D2550-ITX WiFi Supreme Mainboard kurzerhand mit einer NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Grafikeinheit aus und bringt so auch gleich ordentlich Leistung mit.

Es steht eine aktualisierte Version des Nuvo-2012 Atom Barebones zur Verfügung. Diese bietet neben einem 2 ten LAN-Anschluss eine Option für einen zweiten analogen VGA-Ausgang.
