This is something very important if you have plans of installing a PCI card like the one I used in my project (WI-FI + Bluetooth combined PCI board) specially if you're using such small enclosure like VOOM PC - 2. The PCI board can be placed in horizontal position because, in vertical position is impossible due to the size of the enclosure for example.

Riser souple bien conçu et tres pratique. Il permet de profiter du moindre petit espace disponible pour placer une carte et ajouter quelques fonctionnalités à votre CarPC. Un peu cher néanmoins.

Riser avec un très grand lien souple qui permet de placer la carte fille avec beaucoup de liberté.dommage que la base ne dispose pas d'un petit trou pour fixer le tout au boitier.

best to place pci card, such as a pci sound card, in a safer place. on carputers is usfull to avoid breaking on motherbord because of road shocking. expansive but nice
A PCI riser is extremely useful if you plan to build a HTPC and you need to install a TV Tuner inside it (or some other device on PCI).
This is also useful if you plan to build some 1U or 2U rackmount server or router system.
However, the price looks a bit steep.
