Das lüfterlose erweiterbare Embedded-Computersystem HM-1000 wurde für Zielmärkte wie industrielle Automatisierungssteuerung, Videoüberwachung, Industrie und Fahrzeugsysteme entwickelt. Das HM-1000 ist ein Barebone-System, das Reseller und Systemintegrator-Partner mit eigenen leistungsstarken, lüfterlosen Prozessoren, PCI- oder PCI-Express-Erweiterungssteckplätzen anpassen können. Es bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit, ein optionales Erweiterungsmodul zur Erweiterung von Ethernet, GPIO und USB zu installieren.
Das HM-1000 ist ein Hochleistungssystem basierend auf der Intel Q87 Haswell-Plattform und unterstützt einen lüfterlosen Intel Core i3, i5, i7 Prozessor in der LGA1150-Buchse bis zu 65 Watt. Das System kommt mit 4 GB DDR3-Speicher an Bord. Dieser Speicher ist nicht erweiterbar, um dieses System robuster und vibrationsresistenter zu machen. Es gibt aber auch eine Version mit 8GB für OEM-Kunden.
Der HM-1000 kann bei -10°C bis 60°C betrieben werden. Es ist ein lüfterloses System ohne beweglichen Teile, außer bei Verwendung von 2,5-Zoll-Festplatten. Das Chassis besteht aus Aluminium und hat große Gummipuffer an den Ecken, um das System robuster und vibrationsresistenter zu machen. Darüber hinaus ist die Innenseite des Systems kabelfrei und modular für einen saubere Organisation und verbesserte thermische Leistung.
Die Basis-Barebone-System kommt mit drei Erweiterungssteckplätze, 1 für PCI Express von 16 und zwei 32-Bit-PCI-Steckplätze. Es gibt auch andere Riser-Karten-Optionen zur Verfügung. Intern unterstützt dieses System ein 2,5" SATA Gerät zusätzlich zu einem M.2-SATA-Anschluss für SSD. Es hat auch einen Full-Size-Mini-PCI-Express-Steckplatz für WIFI oder andere Mini-PCIE-Express-Karten.
